Meet the Wild Wolves of Yellowstone

Steve Martin’s Working Wildlife team trains animals of all types for roles on screen. Trainer Mark Jackson and three wolves will showcase the basic training techniques used to develop the wolves’ acting skills at each show. Mostly wolf, these hybrids have malamute, husky or German shepherd bred into their lineage. “These animals have just enough dog attitude and loyalty to deal with the pressure of film making, and are much easier to train.” Jackson says.

Expect a presentation that’s both entertaining and educational. “Wolves Fact and Fiction Q&A” will cover behavior, size, dietary tendencies, habitat, known range, along with an understanding of rancher and hunter concerns with wolf populations. The whole family will have a howling good time!

Shasta Lake Business Owners Association

Shasta Lake is the largest man-made lake in California and is known as the house boating capital of the world. The association represents 19 businesses, the lake’s six marinas as well as lodging, restaurants and other businesses located on or near the lake.

“These businesses have a passion for this lake and for the services that are provided,” said Matt Doyle, president of the Shasta Lake Business Owners Association. “We are an outdoor recreation paradise from boating to hiking to swimming to fishing to kayaking and any other outdoor activity one can think of.”
