Solvent welds to O.D. of Schedule 40 pipe. 2-1/2" and larger have a dome-shaped top. 2" and smaller have a flat top. Used to cap pipe. PVC Sch. 40 fitting are for pressure systems where temperatures will not exceed 140A°F. They are highly resilient, with high-tensile and high-impact strength.
